Potter Aur Azkaban Ka Quaidi

Hindi translation of the third book in the Harry Potter
series was launched, very appropriately, at the hands
of children, amongst them physically challenged children
from Akshay Pratishthan, a local organization working
for such children. The grand event was held in New
Delhi on 31st January, 2006,at the 17th Book World Book
Fair.
The
event was covered and carried by the entire national electronic

Harry Potter Aur Paras Patthar

was the first Harry Potter book to be published in Hindi,
and was released at a gala event in New Delhi, by the
then Deputy Prime Minister Mr. L. K. Advani, on , Children’s
Day November 14, 2003. In attendance were children
from local NGOs like Katha, Arushi, as well as from several
shelters for underprivileged children. The
children reacted with great enthusiasm to the very first
official Hindi translation of the immensely popular Harry
Potter series.

series was launched, very appropriately, at the hands
of children, amongst them physically challenged children
from Arushi, a local organization working for such children.
The grand event was held in Bhopal on July 8, 2005, and
included a lively book reading session for the children.

at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, by the President of India,
His Excellency Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, on December 9,
2004. Himself a renowned writer and thinker, the
President was an appropriate choice for the launch.
